Burlington, Ont.— June 21, 2023— The City of Burlington is delighted to announce Blake Hurley as the new Govt Director of Lawful Products and services & Corporate Counsel.
Hurley joined the Metropolis of Burlington in 2008 as an Assistant Metropolis Solicitor, where by he worked intently with users of the City’s management workforce, Council and different Metropolis Committees to aid in advancing the City’s goals and strategic options relating to advancement and growth. He has been the performing Govt Director of Authorized Services and Corporate Counsel considering that the retirement of Nancy Shea Nicol in April 2023.
Next his call to the Bar of Ontario in 2004, Hurley commenced his authorized career in personal apply at WeirFoulds LLP in Toronto, wherever he supported the company in the location of Municipal and Setting up Legislation.
