
On 9 March 2023, the Council appointed Ms Emer Finnegan as the new Director-Common of the Council Authorized Provider and as Legal Counsel of the European Council and the Council.
She will just take up her new publish on 1 April 2023.
Emer Finnegan, an Irish national, has been a Director in the Council Authorized Support considering that December 2015. Given that Oct 2018 she has been the Director dependable for legal concerns in the Competitiveness, Ecosystem, and Transportation, Telecom, and Energy Councils.
She joined the Authorized Service in 1999, and has delivered legal advice in lots of coverage locations, which include Justice and Property Affairs and External Relations.
