Winnipeg police searching for suspect just after sexual assault in close proximity to provincial law courts constructing

Police are seeking for a male after they say he sexually assaulted a female close to the provincial legislation courts building early Friday morning.

Officers satisfied with the target about 7 a.m. right after obtaining report of the assault. The 20-12 months-old female endured an injury to her upper-entire body during the incident and was taken to medical center in secure ailment, according to a Friday news launch.

The woman told police that she was walking from St. Mary Avenue to Kennedy Street soon right before 6 a.m., toward the law courts building in downtown Winnipeg, when a man she did not know commenced to follow her, the launch states.
